The Life & Health Course is a 3 day course covering basic insurance information, life insurance policies, annuities, Medicare, Long Term Care and other health insurance policies. The Life & Health Course is taught every month during our pre-licensing week. This course runs Monday and Thursday and Friday of a pre-licensing week. Monday Day 1 - 8:00am - Noon Insurance Basics Thursday Day 2 - 8:00am - 5:00pm Life Insurance (Life & Annuities) Friday Day 3 - 8:00am - 5:00pm Health Insurance (Medicare, Long Term Care & other health policies) **Students will receive their certificate of course completion on the last day of the course. How do I sign up for my test in Indiana? https://home.pearsonvue.com/in/insurance
How do I sign up for my test in Kentucky? To create a secure, password-protected eServices account, click on "eServices" in the middle of the Department of Insurance (DOI) home page (http://insurance.ky.gov) then click on "Create Account" to set up the account. Once your online record reflects "pending examination" you are eligible to schedule your examination online. Any examination retake and rescheduling may be done through this account as well.
What if I want to get licensed in multiple states? In order to get licensed in multiple states, test and apply for a license in your resident state and then apply for non-resident status in any other states you wish to work in. In most states, as long as they are reciprocal, it is simply an application to fill out. Only a few states will require a test for non-resident status.
